Assassin's Creed Valhalla brought back two beloved features in the franchise: one hit assassinations with the hidden blade and social stealth, and it's all the better for it. As you sail from one island to another, you’re bound to come across countless ships going about their business. But, motherfucker, I am so with you. I've also been trying to focus on Assassination. I don't know what to say to some of the complaints, but being angry because the game doesn't devote enough exposition to you aquiring gear and abilities is a weird complaint. I've been grinding sidequests so I could stack points in the tree, but I'm still barely leveling on par with the zones and I can only actually assassinate the weakest enemies. The best raids are the castle assaults you'll complete at the end of a territory arc because they usually require specific objectives to beat. Combat is now more varied with the addition of new enemy types that change the way you approach battle. They have a map I want to explore, and this game, like Origins, has pretty good combat. Honestly, do the main quest until you get to Andros. Assassin's Creed Valhalla provides a gorgeous playground to explore with excellent combat. Playing Assassin’s Creed Origins, I honestly thought that the modern day happenings in the series might have some worth again. Also for me the yearly releases is a big red flag. Assassin's Creed Valhalla combines the best aspects of the franchise into a saga that may be too long for its own good. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey seemingly ruins that. Despite some pitfalls, Valhalla is a strong game with plenty to enjoy. If you're going to make us grind like this, make the missions unique. That’s probably why the reviews seem disengenuous to you, the reviewers know that anyone who plays those “games”, wasn’t able to figure out how to read, so they figured “fuck it, why actually review this shit”.
